Adjustment Update

Hi everyone!

The last time I posted I was having difficulty adjusting to my Nick being home. I am here with an update: the adjustment period is over! Everything is back on track with the way things should be.

I must admit that sometimes I feel as though I am "over sharing" and other times that I feel as if I do not relieve enough of myself. So here are some facts:

My name is Brittney (as you know) and I am 22 years of age. I am married to the most loving and wonderful man I have ever met. We have been married 1 year, 2 months, and 30 days and looking forward to at least another 49 years of marriage if God is willing. :) Hmmm.... let me think..... I was born and raised in Texas and yes I do say "y'all" a lot. I met my husband at the lowest point that I have ever been at. We met in July of 2010, dated for 3 months, married on October 18th, 2010, and that is the basics of how we met.

Ok so I am getting tired and cannot think straight anymore lol. I'll try to post more often in 2012 than I have in 2011 and I hope everyone has a safe and happy New Years! :)

Duty Days

HI everyone,

So I have noticed that on "duty days" my whole day is just empty and, well, wasted. I make plans to do something and stay busy but I never go through with them. I was just wondering if it is like this with other wives when trying to get used to these days.

I wasn't really given a chance to get used to anything before Nick had to go to Maine and all that. I am having a very difficult time adjusting to him being home and then on duty and then home. I don't really know why and I feel like a bad wife for feeling this way.

I am happy that Nick is home, it's just really hard to get used to it again. We had a month of married life before he had to go away and now that he is back.... it's just hard.

Any advice?

So I have joined Pinterest! And I am addicted already lol.

The other day I found the cutest picture of pug puppies ever! I cannot remember where the picture is orginally from but it is too cute not to share!

Is it not the cutest?! I have also decided that I want to join a book club or start one up where I am with the wives from my hubby's ship and others that I know.

Ok well gotta go for now but I'll be back!! lol
